Brush Wars.

I'm sure you've heard every second blogger and youtuber rave about both MAC but especially Sigma brushes. To be honest for the longest time I just ignored every plug these brushes got on social media. One day in my vulnerable state (duvet day) I went onto Sigma and bought two brushes, and then onto MAC to buy another. Don't get me wrong I love to spend money on cosmetics but I'm always wary of stepping outside of my comfort zone, brand wise that is. Three brushes later and my eyeshadow game has totally changed. I now understand the phrase "a workman is only as good as his tools", but seriously I now wonder how I ever created any eye look?

So in short I only need three brushes to create virtually any eye look. Everyday and every night I use these three brushes regardless of the intensity of the look I'm going for. Of course I add in other brushes occasionally but these three are my holy grail, couldn't live without eyeshadow brushes!

Sigma E55 Eye Shading - Ideal for packing on colour to the lid, can be used both wet and dry. I also use this to blend shadow under my eye and to apply product under my brow-bone.

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending - Ideal for adding a transition colour into your crease. Also amazing for blending harsh lines in your shadow. It has got black hair and is a fluffy brush ideal for blending. You can also use it for adding highlighter to your cheekbones.

MAC 217 Blending Blush - I now have three of these brushes, that's how much I love them! I really only use it to apply colour to the crease of my eye. It really does an amazing job at seamlessly blending colour into the crease and creating a really professional and crisp look. It is a must have brush to add to your collection!
